If they raise the cap to lvl 25 people are gonna say, "Why is the cap so low why don't they raise it?" They raise is to 35 people will say, "Why is the cap so low. Why don't they raise it?" they raise it to 60 people will say, "Man they need to raise it just a little more." They raise it to 100, "They should go for 120." They raise it to 300, "It still ain't enough it should be at least 500."
In other words, people who want higher caps are interested in grinding. Go play WoW or Everquest if you want to grind. |

To focus an argument on something that two sides enjoy, with the sole goal to make one side wish they had 'never bought the game' or are 'wasting their money' is just amazingly daft! So what if you win? So what if you manage to get all the non-PvP players to agree that this is a waste of money and that they will not buy any more expansions? The sales will fall through the fall. ArenaNet will drop the game after 1 expansion and your lovely PvP world becomes history as we all move onto the next game! High sales = Shareholders and Businessmen will want to make more. More = we all get lots of good stuff. The PvE players who love this game need the PvP players and visa versa. If you want to FIGHT for anything, fight to make both parts as good as possible and please both camps. That way you can be sure that expansions and Guild Wars 2 (3,4...) will be made in the future! And we are now WAYYYY OFF TOPIC! |

Im not fully against you repins. If you bought GW's soly to level up, you certainly need to rethink what game your playing, since you can hit the lv 20 cap easily, but to say: "If you bought the game for PVE then you made a bad choice in your purchase";
thats like saying PvE isnt worthwhile, and to that I have to protest. Since people do play the PvE aspect of it only, it just isnt right to state that its worthless. This is the only game I know of that strikes a perfect medium between PvP and PvE. I'm the kind of player that absolutly hates PvP in an MMO, I just dont feel it should have a place in such a game; GW's changed that biased point of view for me. I do enjoy the PvP game; on GW's and on GW's alone. I'm just asking you to be a little more open minded is all. |
